My first thought was 'wow, do you really want to remove much, if any, metal
from a wheel stud?' But, if you're just gonna clean up some burrs on the
threads you should be OK.

Hi Shephen,
The brake drum studs are 7/16 x 18TPI threads. The thread type is British
Standard Fine (B.S.F)

Hi,

Hoping someone can help me, I have an original BN1 100/4 built in 1954 some of
the front wheel studs which hold the brake drum on look a little worn, so I was
looking to buy a die and re-cut the threads, does anybody know what size and
Teeth per Inch (TPI) these studs are?

Thanks
in advance for your help with this matter

Stephen
