That will buy you a very decent MX5/Miata, or a SMART Roadster, or a
Daihatsu Copen, which is just as ugly as a AH bug eye. These
alternatives, and certainly the Smart and Copen are a hoor to drive and
very much in the spirit of the bug eye.
A bit more expensive but a fantastic drive: Lotus Elise or the Opel
Variant however that one is looking even worse.
