Interesting. In all my readings about the mysteries of the SU fuel pump, th=
at is the first I've seen of that/those methods of adjusting the diaphragm =
('stretching' it); all others use the 'push the diaphragm until the mousetr=
ap doesn't throwover, then back off 4-6 turns' method. This method may be s=
uperior in that, possibly, every diaphragm may be have a little different '=
stretchability.'=20

Maybe this is Kees' closely guarded secret method?=20

related specifically to the issue of the points=E2=80=99 =E2=80=9Cthrow-ove=
r=E2=80=9D. I sent out a blizzard of bumf on the subject, none of it acknow=
ledged so apparently wrong, but I can=E2=80=99t help adding to it with the =
attached pages...purely because I rather like the rather Heath Robinson app=
roach with the use of matchsticks(!) and also the apparent confidence that =
one can adequately cover so many topics so briefly.=20
