I have a very loud banging noise in my gearbox in reverse (1960 BT7
w/overdrive) It's much less noticeable in first and second and I cannot hear it
at all in third and fourth. Also, the O/D started working intermittently and
now it's not working

at all. The O/D cut out switch on the gearbox is working properly. I'm planning
on pulling the gearbox out and I think I can get it out from above.

Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing the noise? What should I
be looking for when I get it out? Thanks.
