The harm it does is to the wallet. When you drive normally it is very 
likely you will not notice any wear to the valve seats. It may help in 
extreme circumstances but even then I have my doubts. The industry 
earned billions from the scare they introduced when leaded petrol was 
phased out. In the end it was only a handful of cars that had problems 
with valve seat wear. Even lead substitute could not prevent that.

I do not think this stuff will harm the engine.
