We have been using these on the V8 Supercars in our premium touring car =
racing series for years. Often wondered why NASCAR used such an archaic =
way of fixing there wheels?

Somethings just get better with age. NASCAR announced their new version =
of wheels that will be used during sanctioned racing, a center lock =
wheel. Yep those old knockoffs that we both love and detest will be =
revamped and used on an 18 inch non steel wheel. Granted the ears will =
be missing, hence no hammers will be flying around the pit stop areas. =
Suspect there will be a pneumatic gun used instead. Have to wonder how =
long it will be until these beasts of the past return to production =
cars???=20
Hope everyone is having a good day and the storms (twisters) of late =
missed all of you.=20
