The replacements available have a =E2=80=9Cmembrane=E2=80=9D between the =
fat and skinny parts of the seal that prevent it from fitting over the =
end of the seal.  Is that supposed to be cut?  They also seem to last =
only a couple years before beginning to tear/disintegrate.  Contact =
cement doesn=E2=80=99t work very well to hold them in place.
