ll know these bushes fit into a machined socket that is part=0Aof the ge=
ar change mechanism. The bushes are in two haves and held=0Atogether wit=
h a circlip. I will suggest that a one piece nylon bush=0Amay be superio=
r to the original brass if it is the right size to both=0Afit the ball a=
t the end of the gear lever and slide freely in the=0Asocket. When I too=
k apart both these transmissions there was a build=0Aup of debris, oil,=
corrosion, etc. in the socket that prevented the=0Abush from moving fre=
ely. A nylon bush the right size that doesn=E2=80=99t=0Arequire lubricat=
ion may give a better feel to the gear shift and not=0Ahave the issues w=

w bush, this one having been there for=0A25++ years, they sent me a nylo=
