What's the deal with Pinto engines?  What's so great about them?  A friend
owns a hotrod with a pinto engine and what looks like dual Webber side-draft
carbs, all chromed, runs terrible - I think it is too much carb.  I thought
it was silly.  Maybe it isn't.  Maybe I've not been exploring all of my
options.  He would sell if I would buy, but I can hardly squeeze into that
tiny cockpit with the pince-nez windshield in front of it.  Gotta drive
around with one leg hangin' out and the steering wheel jammed into my x.
Need a gorilla arm to reach the shift lever on the floor.

Was the Pinto name in reference to the horse or the bean?
