Welcome, glad to have you aboard. Where were you
a prof, and where do you live? How about your
partner - same area? Is that where your car is
located? There are quite a few guys here who
are old/new beginners - myself included, as weell
as guys who have set records over and over since
the fiftys. Kieth Turk has broken more small
blocks in the last year than anybody ever in
history (ha ha), and should be able to provide
you with a lot of answers, along with Tom Bryant,
who is (in my opinion anyhow) lord and master of
the small block world. Then there's Dr. Mayfield
(Mayf), who is about as far along as you are
putting together a Sunbeam Alpine (phony Tiger)
with a dual turbo SB Ford. He's a pretty fair
shade tree engineer - in his previous life he was
a honest to God rocket scientist at the national
rocket science center in Huntsville. Then too,
we've go a couple of resident experts on
Corvettes! My point is, speak up and ask
anything you want. Nothing here is stupid,
although sometimes somebody may poke some humor -
you will find this to be the fountain of
knowledge. Ask a question here, and you'll get
answers from guys who have been there, done it,
and got the tee shirts (hats too). Again,
welcome.
