Ah...yes it is, Butitis also an old dance,.... and more importantly.... -a
type or style of early ROOTS BLUES music popular around the time our Dads
came home from the BIG one in Europe and the Pacific....and that is why m'
car is named Boogie Woogie ! -'cuz I jes' love dat moozic ! Ye haw ! Just
try to keep your foot still when you listen to Louis Jordan's big band, Big
Joe Turner, Wynonnie Harris, or EARLY Ray Charles ( to give ya a few
hints....) WHO do ya think ol' Jerry Lee, Carl Perkins, an' Elvis listened
to to get THEIR Ideas from eh' boys?

OK that's my gift to ya'alll -for ta'day. the BOOGIEWOOGIE story.

That's m' story an' I'm stickin' toit. ( ok, ok don't believe ME.... -ask
Wes Potter.)

"Dirty Doug" still stuck in New Yawk.... :(
" Hawt Rodz, Cold Beer, an' Warm Wimmen, it's alla same ta' me. "
