When you take the picture, have a known size
reference sitting on the ground next to the car.
A piece of graph paper taped to the front of a
small carboard box with one square inch clearly
marked. Count the pixtels in the marked
constant, and you know how many pixtels are in
one square inch. After you count the pixtels in
the image of the car, divide by the constant and
you have converted the frontal area of the car to
square inches.
