Anybody know how to tell one old Ford front axle
from another? Does it make any difference? I
have an early Ford Axle for my roadster. I has
backing plates for mechnanical brakes so I know
it's older than 1939, but I have no idea what
year model it is. I need to get spindles for it
(am not going to run front brakes). How can I
tell what year the axle is in order to get the
right spindles, or are they all the same from
Model A - 1939?
