The reasons being; he does it for a living, has been generous in sharing
information with other land-speed racers and flat out knows what he is
talking about. When the best is available, why not use it? A record of 257
IN a Ford, POWERED by a Ford, ON gas ... He can back it up with his
Bonneville record setting performance.
