Thanks, Dick.

I'd rather buy "USA" made stuff if I have a choice. It sounds like Stroud is
a good bunch to deal with.

At the last minute, I've decided to run at Maxton at the end of this month.
I have not yet upgraded my window net so I had to scramble to get a
full-door net. I emailed one of the major companies three times and never
got an answer. I then called RCI which is about ten miles from my home.
The guy was really nice, but explained that they no longer make their own
stuff, they buy it all from China. I checked another place and they said
I'd have to order at least 100 nets! The next supplier also bought their
stuff from China (with SFI Tags?).
I called Stroud in Oklahoma. The gal that answered the phone understood my
dilemma and assured me that there was no Chinese stuff there, that they made
thier own stuff right there in their shop. She assured me that if I emailed
her a drawing with dimensions and all, she would get it to "the right
person". I sent the email yesterday afternoon. She sent an email right back
letting me know that they had my order and that there were no problems. I
got another e-mail this morning informing me that the net was done,
confirming my shipping address, and asking if I needed overnight.
Hey, these guys care about racers - and it's all damn sure "Made In USA".
I know "Sparky" Smith has visited with them before, but after this
experience, everything I buy from here on out will come from Stroud in
Oklahoma City - USA.
