Malcolm,

I don't know how to break this to you, but doorstep milk delivery has been
gone in the U.S. (at least in my experience) since about 1965, so we have a
real shortage of delivery vehicles. I guess this record could remain in
British hands for some time!

Why do they call them 'floats'? To qualify for a record must the vehicle
have actually deliered milk, or are there general construction requirements?
Is thrust power allowed?

The latest idea in the UK is to set a World Record for Milk Floats!  Does
the USA and Australia have such vehicles or is this just a British thing?
