Well guys, seems every body's experience is a little different. My best runs
were in the heat of the afternoon. The next morning we ran 2 MPH slower. Had
the same situation the next day too. But then I didn't have a Nitro can to tip
either.

That certainly happened when I was crewing for Clark Cagle and Belmont
Sanchez in the eeeaaaarrrrly 60's. The we added some nitro and the air and
wet salt was not any longer a problem....just ran out of engines. Isn't the
water closer to the surface in the PM??? Cold is good!!!
