I'm on the stuff now for my knees, both of which are shot. Only been a
month, so too early to tell.

Remember, getting old is tough ... it's really hard to get parts.

Dana ... creak, creak.

Wes, that glucosamine stuff did work for me, so I'll pass on a "yes" vote
for it. I had farkled my left hand/wrist lifting boxes of medical waste,
and the ortho doc said surgery to fuse the joint was my only option. Then a
new doc moved to town and suggested a simple brace to sorta restrict
movement for six months or a year. During that time the hurt diminished
drastically -- and during that time is when Nancy started me on glucosamine
chondroitin (SP?) supplements.

I haven't worn the brace for a couple of years, at least, and have pain
there about one day out of six months now, if that.

Don't know if the pills did the trick, but something did, and I won't take a
chance by quitting them, that's for sure. It used to hurt hurt to switch
low/high beam on the motorcycle, or to push the turn signal button on the
bike, or even to pull in the clutch lever. Not No More!!

Jon, leaving with Nancy for Maxton tonight. We'll be volunteers for the
weekend, too -- wonder if any racers will show up with rides?
