Welcome back to the list Gary! I once owned a '79 Pinto wagon. The manual gear 
shift lever pulled out of the tranny while in high gear on the freeway. Glad I 
had a long handled screwdriver nearby.LOL
BTW, Dave Dahlgren from Connecticut could maybe offer you some help & 
encouragement. Good Luck bud,least you got a project thats "hands on"!!
