Dick, drag is the Coefficient of Drag X the frontal area. They are
multiplied together. You can go to Mayf's web site and easily calculate the
effect creating LESS area will have. However, the problem is that when you
remove all the stuff you have drastically changed the shape (i.e. the Cd)
for better or worse. Not knowing the true Cd means you are multiplying area
times an unknown value.  -Elon
