Heard from USFRA member Kent Singleton today,via email.Stated the Elect liner
had a 189mph shakedown run on Thurs.The car show is slated for Montego Bay in
Wendover from 1-3P on Sat.
Today at the start line, their motorcycle sized batteries that power the
instrumentation were dead,and couldn't be recharged within the one hr. Also
smoke was seen wafting from the variable speed controller. No media reporters
were allowed today(Fri) near the liner.
He stated Malcolms team mood is positive for another try on Saturday, May 7 !
