I think it would be better if there was an ocean and a continent between the
soldiers and the bad guys!

Wow I am impressed CT scans and computer models and no doubt a six figure
budget per day to figure out the obvious. All they had to do was get a
consult from a class of 3'd grade kids to tell them more padding is
better.Lol.. You can pad a soldier until they look like the Michelin man and
it does not help in the end they have to be able to move and not stand as
stationary targets. We could have saved the tax payers a pile of money with
a much more simple test that you can do at home. Get 2 eggs drop one on the
floor and note results drop the second one on a pillow and compare the
outcome. Hmm padding is good study over. Cost 35 cents fits on one sheet of
paper that is not classified. What are we going to do if this secret is
leaked out and they make even bigger bombs? then we will need a new study to
find a solution for another 3 million only to discover that 2 extra pads
work better than one.
sigh our tax dollars at work... This whole test would have been more
interesting if we had the Myth Busters blowing up pigs with helmets on. That
would have been epic with great barbecue later.
