      Thanks for you information, could you be more specific about the method
of construction of the shockers and do you have dimensions of the discs. The
shocker that I am repairing (rear) has a riveted construction: the riveted
retaining disc is 1.5 inches by 0.81 by 0.0155 inches thick, it has three
holes for rivets. The inner bush is about 0.8 by 0.5 inches by 0.6 inches long
and made of timber.

    They are available from Sports and Vintage Motors in England, James. (I
have address) The replacement discs, however, don't get rivited to the plates.
There is a pressed in bushing and small disc that holds the bushing that goes
thru the plate, and the disc has a hole that goes over the small disc. I just
rebuilt the shocks for my J2.
