Hi Scott,
I have put in a restrictor in my 51 TD bypass hose. It is just a piece of 1"
diameter bar about 1" long with a 3/8" dia hole thro the centre, secured in
place with a hose clip. I think it works well at putting more water thro the
radiater and is certainly no worse. I use a modern thermostat.
