Gene,
  Pushing oil into the rack is easy,   .....if.....   you can find a
"bulk fill" greasegun.  You may have to have the auto parts store order
one for you.  You put the hypoid oil in the gun and give a couple of
strokes.  
  Then you drain the unused oil out of the gun and put the gun into a
plastic bag until next use.  My experience has been that the oil will, in
the time between rack lubrications, drain the hypoid oil, and the stuff
really reeks.
