I do run a water pump that has been upgraded with a better impeller. This
pretty common in the XPAGs if rebuilt, or should be.
The true test is to try it. I do not run hotter. In fact, just the
opposite. I have greater abilities. My gauge does not run hotter. I know
of many folks using this stuff in old cars with non pressurized systems. It
does work. If I was left to choose after running this stuff two years in
MGs, Packards, REO and such, I would most definitely not choose water.
