When I rebuilt two different TD's I added a 1/8" by 1" strip, about 8",
of flat iron where the hinge bolts go.  You can easily put one in the
door while the upholstery is off.  For the one on the hinge pillar, it
must be added when the tub is assembled or before the heel board is
bolted onto the tub.
