I agree with the first part of that statement, but not necessarily the
second. The fore and aft location should be determined by the front bow of
the top. Extend it out and where it fits over the pegs on the top of the
windscreen, that's the proper fore and aft location. Side curtains are
often (especially after this many years) owner installed and not necessarily
accurately.
