Man, have I gotten LOST in this old British archive. Get a beer and a cigar
and watch this 1951 British flick. The acting is...stilted? But the the
footage of the 1951 Alpine Rally is great. The star is an MG TD with proper
engine sound recording. Would you race a TD with no roll bar, with your two
kids in back, while your little daughter poured coffee for you out of a
thermos? There's more! How about a TD out-accelerating an XK120? Or a '51
Skoda fishtailinhg through the hairpins. Play "name the cars!" Watch for the
villain and his pencil-thin mustache. His portly sidekick is a young
Sebastian Cabot.
