2.  I rebuilt the fron bushings last spring, but recently I have noticed
that the car drift left when I hit rough surfaces at speed on highway.  It
almost feels like the nose of the car rises a touch and she starts going
left like changing lanes..

Larry, this is a guess, but you might look at rear end alignment of the rear
axle.  If there is wear and it has shifted in relation to the car, you will
get rear drift under accleration and rough roads.
