This has probably been addressed in the past but I'm at the stage of
requiring a rad and would like to know what others are using.
The easiest method is to use the original GT V8 rad which I can get for less
than $300 CDN but have heard that it's cooling ablility can be limited
(don't know what's different now than in the 70's). Can anyone confirm that
the core of this rad is the same as the RB rads with different tanks and
does it only have 3 tubes in the core? I looked at two different RB rads
today and one had 3 tubes, the other 4 (things that make you go Hmmmmm...).
I've checked with a rad shop and can get one custom made with 4 tubes in the
core and 2-3 inches added to the bottom for more area for about $450 CDN.
I'm not getting into aluminum rads mainly because of the cost.
Any ideas and advice is always appreciated.
