Looks like i'm joining the list of people looking for a good used 4 syncro
MGB transmission with overdrive. Mine (if I can find one) will go in my '73
B. The engine is currently undergoing a complete overhaul and as previously
posted, the old 4 speed box is quite loose. Combine this with the fact that
I have always wanted an OD and the current timing (engine being out of the
car) and you have [worn 4sp + want OD + engine out = need good used OD
now!]. At the risk of compromising originality I am not real picky about
the year of the transmission. Anything 68-80 will be OK. Any pointers
(especially in the (SW) Virginia area) would be greatly appreciated.

ps. Has anyone ever collected a list of horrific things that PO's have done
to their beloved lbc's. If so, I have a couple of good ones to add to the
list. This may, however, be a can of worms better left on the shelf.
