 This is an easy one. From what your discription says--
fuel and oil gauges acting stupid, my first guess would be the voltage 
regulator for the dash guages. I don't know exactly where yours is 
located but it should be on the fire wall somewhere, of course on the 
people side of the firewall. I am sure that some good soul will tell us 
all where to find your v.r. 
        Once you find it take it to the nearest witch doctor and have the 
evil Lucastor exorsized from the thing.
