Perhaps Jaguar engineers put an inverter in the perceived speed 
transmitters, cause when I'm driving the Jag at 80, it feels like 50, but 
the constabulary continues to think it's 80.  I know it's not my 
perceptions which are at fault though, because they worked fine the other 
day when I was driving our 67 Spitfire with an out of round wheel at a 
blazing 35mph -- I thought I was going 70.
