I hate to get started on this "what weight oil to use in the gearbox" 
controversy, but my owners manual (73 MGB with OD) says to use 20W50.  
Can anyone really, truely, unequivically, get to to bottom of this 
perpplexing mystery, or is this destined to always be a source of confusion?
