Replace them! The cost of new lines cannot compare with the effort of trying
to clean out old lines - what with the inevitable rust that has accumulated.
Be sure to retain the old ends, however, for on most T types and earlier
cars these were BSF or BSP threads. Modern replacements won't work.

I'm working on the brakes of a MG TD that has sat idle in a garage for 25
years.
The master and slave cylinders were no problem to clean up and rebuild, but
how does one go about cleaning out the brake lines?
I was thinking of flushing them out with a spray can of Gum Out or some such
solvent. Would this leave an undesirable residue? I plan on using the new
silicone brake fluid when its finished.
Any advice appreciated.
