Don't tell my '73 MGB.;) It is true that the group 26 and its replacements
have hold-down tabs on two sides of the case that prevent the battery
from sliding down the well.
Solution: get out the hacksaw, and trim off one of the tabs (do _not_ cut
into the case). If that still isn't enough, the other tab needs to come
off too.
