Grease Cups

Anyone know how to remove Grease Cups from Wire Wheel hubs on a 1971 MGB??? 
Mine seem to be frozen, or PO used a hammer to set them in place, the stud 
threads on both cups are mashed up.

Also when I do get them out , and 
replaced, do I put grease in them?  Two different references I have, One says 
put grease in them, the other don't put grease in them.
