I've located an OD transmission for a 76 mgb at a local salvage yard. (They
want $400. for it, plus $50. for the driveshaft). Can someone advise me of
the procedures/problems etc. for rebulding and installing an OD transmission
into a non OD 1972 mgb. Should I replace the clutch since I'm going this
far? Present clutch has 66K on it. I'm open to all suggestions and
comments from anyone who has performed this type of transplant.
Also, before I pull what little hair I have left out of my head, where is
the directional flasher unit located in my 72 B?
