Specifically, the NAMGBR folks, who are part of MGCC, provide liability
insurance to affiliated clubs through J.C. Taylor. It is free, only hitch is
that to be an affiliate club they Eventually wish you to have 8 paid members
of NAMGBR on board. (North American MGB Register, phone 1-800-NAMGBR-1) You
don't need the 8 members up front, they just encourage clubs to reach that
level as they go. Since NAMGBR represents Midgets, Bs, 1100 and 1300s, it's
not hard in most clubs to find members wanting to belong to a national org.
like them. Their magazine is great and lots ot tech support, discounts, and
events are available...
By the way I'm a distant Sorry Safari member who will someday make it to an
event besides Palo Alto, unfortunately my NAMGBR membership counts towards my
own local club, Chico Area British Car Club. (Need more details feel free to
email me)
