I am planning to buy a '73 MGB roadster next weekend. I do not have MG
experience
and I am a little mechanically inclined (it is not that bad, but I am
not the kind of guy
to take an engine apart).
Anyway, I really would like to buy this MG. It has an overdrive, is
freshly painted, has
good interior, everything looks great. Could you specialists out there
give me some hints
on what buttons to push and what holes to poke in to find out, if it is
inside like it looks
outside? What's a fair price range for this kind of car (it's a
dealership and they ask $4,950)?
Do you know an expert I could hire for an appraisal of the car (this is
LA area)?
Let's say I buy this car, would you recommend me making a 1700 miles
trip with it? (Driving
back from LA to Seattle).
