For years I have suffered with carb and choke problems on my '77
Midget...erratic idle, rich running, non-starting when hot, etc. My new
mechanic just recently replaced my water choke with a $20 manual choke kit he
purchased at the local auto parts store. All of my problems have been
solved. The car runs great for the first time in years. I'll try to find
out what he put on my carb to solve the problem. Perhaps it could work for
you too.
