When we bought the '77B, it had chrome 6X14 wheels on all four corners.
The rear tire sidewalls would hit the inside of the fender lip on good bumps.
Wound up putting some good gashes in the sidewalls.

Local MG wise people here said that the offset of the rim to the drum
surface is 'different' on MG's, and that most non MG wheels don't work
well.  Changed to ROstyle wheels and all is well, no more gouges in the
sidewalls
