I stopped on the way home last night for a quick twilight 9-holes of golf.
I had the tonneau on my Midget. When I came back to the car I found out
why nobody had parked around me - the sprinkler for the 4th tee also waters
that section of asphalt parking lot.

The Midget was totally soaked on the outside. I waited until the sprinkler
made a pass, swipped the puddle of water off the tonneau with my arm,
flipped back the tonneau, plopped my bag/clubs into the passenger seat,
jumped around to the driver side and swipped off the water there, flipped
back that half of the tonneau, jumped in and hit the switch and just made
it out of the water as the sprinkler made it's approach shot at me.

A few drips made it through the zipper, and a few more trickles made it in
around where the tonneau comes up against the wing windows, but the inside
of the car was fairly dry. Bottom line: the tonneau works fairly well, but
I wouldn't rely on it in a rainstorm.

(I know a Midget is not a TD, especially not a rubber-bumpered Midget, but
I figure the tonneau part should translate well enough)

Mike Jaquet (who now knows where to park for twilight golf) :)
