Hi All:

I have installed a weber DGV on my 72B. I got the weber from a friend
and he didn't have the instructions it came with. I haven't had any
real problems with it. But, I read in one Weber manual that the new
ignition timing and related specs are provided with at least some
kits. It also appears that the fast idle cam is missoriented (there
is linkage from the choke to the throttle shaft that looks like it
could hold the throttle open slightly at idle under choke if only
things were moved around a bit.

As it is a weber and basically works, I am not going to mess with it
without some additional info. So, if anyone has the instructions for
a DGV conversion (mine is from either Moss or VB), I would be very
interested in knowing what they say in regards to timing, dwell, etc
and fast idle.

And then there is the stupid return spring and vertically
orriented throttle cable set up, but I digress.

thanks,

Jeff Lewis
