Ray -

My brother is service manager at a Peterbilt truck place. He showed me
a set of main and rod bearings from a Peterbilt engine that had run with
a defective bypass, causing too much oil pressure. The bearings had
little crooked grooves eroded in them, looking much like wood that has
been attacked by termites or worms.
