*Ass*u*me* that clearance problem with the 'B'
is the mechanical fuel pump ... have you considered
installing an electric fuel pump?  The 'B' header is
much more efficient than the 'A' header ... IOW, a
stock 'B' header would be a better match to the Weber
than a stock 'A' exhaust manifold.
