I painted my bumpers over 1 1/2 years ago and they still look fine(see
picture at mg enthuiasts web  page)You HAVE to prep it well I wet sande
the bumpers down to 800 grit then used a rubber bumper primer and
flexibl bumper & trim adhesion promoter made by plasti-coat I bought it
at Pep Boys.You use the promoter first then followed by the primer.I
then wet sanded the primer and put on 2 or 3 coats wet sanding in
between,then I had a local auto paint shop put some original paint into 
spray cans I put on 2 to 3 coats wet sanding between coats I did it the
on the car with no problemsI think it makes the car look so much better
I have gotten nothing but complements on the job the cost was around $40
and an afternoons work...Good luck...Pat Bailey
