| It has been my finding that the side draft 45DCOE make the B a most unwelcome beast for daily driving. The down draft seems to work well. As for power, the DCOE makes a different car out of the B. Much more pick up and overall power. Mileage goes to pot. A well tuned set of HS4s or HIF 4s are really teh way to go if you can. They are a good all around carb for a daily driver, and the downdrafts tend to run rich during state emission testing. George Curl 64 MGB 56 190 SL |
