Hi All,
I emailing the list with a smile on my face. I've just been for a ride in
my newly painted '76 MGB.
Through the answers to my email plea, I was guided to the faulty ground
connection (actually, the body shop reconnected the wiring wrong) and was
able to quickly reconnect it properly. I shudder to think how long it
would have taken me to trace that wire to the license plate holder mounting
screw!!!
I got six replies to my email query and figure others pondered whether or
not to reply. This is like MAGIC. Yes, I'm still smiling!!!
Thanks to all the "listers", and especially to Geoff, Jim, Chris S, Chris R,
Mike, and Bruce (you all know who you are).
Time to go for another :-) smiley face drive around the block!
